On September 8th, An Jinlong, head of the International Department of Chunsan Animal Husbandry, led a delegation from the department to visit the Institute of Animal Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IAS-CAAS) in Beijing on behalf of Chairman Li Zan. Researcher Li Junya, deputy director of IAS-CAAS (Beijing), attended the reception and presided over the exchange talks. During the talks, the two parties conducted in-depth and productive discussions on cooperation topics such as the export of "Huaxi Cattle" germplasm resources to Turkmenistan and the joint establishment of a bilateral joint laboratory.

He noted that China is in the process of achieving independent and controllable seed resources, gradually transforming from a seed-importing country to a seed-exporting one, and has occupied an important position in the global seed industry pattern. An Jinlong, head of the International Department of Chunsan Animal Husbandry, fully acknowledged the remarkable achievements made by the IAS (Beijing) in livestock and poultry scientific research. He expressed the expectation to promote the scientific and technological achievements of the CAAS, including the high-quality germplasm resources of "Huaxi Cattle", to Turkmenistan and other Central Asian countries. By jointly building a joint laboratory with the Institute, the two parties will further deepen long-term and practical cooperation in scientific and technological project collaboration, talent exchange and training, as well as the application of advanced technologies.
Deputy director Li Junya first extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and introduced the research progress of his team in the fields of cattle genetic breeding, animal nutrition and health, as well as the cultivation and industrial promotion of the new beef cattle breed "Huaxi Cattle" with independent intellectual property rights. He pointed out that the IAS (Beijing) attaches great importance to cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of animal husbandry science and technology, and is willing to share scientific and technological achievements to support the development of Turkmenistan's animal husbandry industry.
After in-depth consultation, both parties unanimously decided to jointly establish the "Huaxi Cattle International Promotion Working Group", establish and improve a regular communication and cooperation mechanism, so as to ensure the smooth advancement of the aforementioned topics.
Also present at this meeting were Researcher Zhang Lupei, BARRAYEV RUSLAN, and ANNABAYEV YSLAM.
